We have developed a multi-directional Integrated Solar Street Light (MD-ISSL) that can solve many problems. As the ISSL comprises of solar panel, battery and all the other controls circuits in a single package that eliminates the use of a power cable which make it easy to install anywhere. Countries like UAE have underground cable installation, to power the remote area or the rural area it requires long cable and heavy machines for the installation of power cable which cost approximately 75% of the total project cost.MD-ISSL can solve one of the major solar issues that are described by the duck curve. Street light is one the major load during the night time, by replacing the ordinary street light with the MD-ISSL is will reduce the power demand from the grid.
