Merchant Farmers is an agro allied company that works directly with farmers to provide sustainable food to the society. We have created a platform to solve a problem of poor quality of harvesting agro produce, we believe farmers always lose certain percentage of their produce on the farm due to post harvest loss. As an aggregator, we discovered that individuals, retail and wholesale outlets, do not patronize farmers who do not clean their produce before taking it to the market, this in turn becomes a misfortune for the farmer. As an agri start-up, we are also working on a value chain system that promotes agri-tech to provide three services: agri input, crop advisory and market linkage for farm produce directly to a reliable market areas which create food sustainability in the society.
