Many areas of the wind have more wind than solar, and wind can be much more efficient. Prices can be reduced by producing electricity on site. Until Flower Turbines, no company had the combination of low noise, efficiency, and the cluster effect to enable farms of small wind turbines, from 5 to 100, to be placed near houses, malls, commercial buildings, etc. They are more effective than solar per square meter--an important feature for a tightly spaced world. And they can be used to replace costly diesel fuel at many off-grid locations. All this is combined with a flower-like design that makes people want to buy them. For the first time, small wind has the potential to play a significant role in the global movement for clean energy.
