GM biotech crops production for Inner Farming
Genetically modified crops in plants will be adapted that will grow anywhere . Plants will be genetically modified so that the it grows faster/higher germination rate. and rapid corps production. These engineered fruits and vegs has longer shelf life, resistance to pests, diseases, environmental conditions, reduction of spoilage, resistance to chemical treatments (e.g. resistance to a herbicide) and aim to enrich with substances that may offer health benefits and more nutritious. e.g one of its first generation is already available called transgenic tomato
Local Farm : Each city will be equipped with its local farm run by citizen. There will be no dedicated so called farmers ..in other words everyone does the farming.. Everyone is farmer bringing own food. what cities needs, it has to be sourced from this
